In New York on May 2026, Consul General Binaya Srikanta Pradhan gave a congratulatory address to 4‑year‑old Advay Jain, who at 3 years 345 days set a Guinness World Record as the youngest male to publish a book.
Jain’s debut, "Dino Learns Not to Waste Food", was born from a July 2025 family workshop that lasted ten months and was published by Panda Publishing Agency. The narrative, driven by his experience in a new pre‑school that banned packed lunches, urges kids to value food.
The book has already sold more than 1,300 copies worldwide, according to father Neeraj Kumar, and the family has been buoyed by global interest. Neeraj and wife Sonal Bansal credit their son’s wall sketches as the seed that grew into a full manuscript.
Advay’s older sister, 12‑year‑old Avya Bansal, also contributes to their creative output as a painter and author of "The Call of the Nether". The duo’s mother says the siblings inspire each other’s storytelling.
Pradhan’s ceremony was followed by a social media post that praised the children’s creativity and hinted at a forthcoming book tour in June, with Jain set to read at local libraries.
