NCC cadets from Madanapalle Institute of Technology & Science (MITS) have completed a national-level adventure and mountaineering camp in Sikkim, organized by the Indian Himalayan Centre for Adventure and Eco-Tourism. The camp was attended by 15 cadets from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, including MITS cadets Gangarapu Jyotheeswar, Ramireddy Laxman, and M. Bhargavi.
The training program included activities such as trekking, mountaineering, river rafting, and paragliding in the Himalayan region, aiming to enhance the cadets' endurance, teamwork, and leadership qualities.
According to MITS Vice-Chancellor C. Yuvaraj, the program prepared the cadets for national service and improved their overall preparedness.
The institution will likely recognize the achievements of the participating cadets, with further details on the recognition ceremony expected to be announced soon.
