AAP Alleges BJP Behind Explosions in Punjab

AAP MP Sanjay Singh alleged on Thursday that the BJP is responsible for the recent explosions in Amritsar and Jalandhar, claiming it is part of the party's 'Mission Punjab' electoral strategy ahead of the 2027 Assembly election. The explosions occurred at two locations in Punjab on Wednesday, prompting BJP leaders to make statements, which Singh claimed was a tactic to disturb peace and divide the people of Punjab.
Singh drew parallels with a similar blast that took place in Maur in 2017, ahead of the Punjab elections, and claimed that the BJP has a history of engineering such incidents to further its electoral goals.
Singh also alleged that the BJP has deep ties with Pakistan's ISI and uses it to engineer bomb blasts and disturb peace in the country, warning the party against attempting to carry out such conspiracies in Punjab.
The AAP has vowed to expose the BJP's alleged relationship with the ISI and make people aware of the Pakistani organisation's promotion of violent terrorism. The party has warned the BJP that the people of Punjab will not tolerate attempts to disturb the peace and will give them a fitting reply, ensuring the forfeiture of the BJP's election deposits.
The Punjab government is expected to take immediate action to investigate the explosions and ensure the safety and security of the people, with the AAP demanding a thorough probe into the incidents.
