Youth Attacked With Sword, Knife in Rajasthan Over Gutkha Dispute

A young man was seriously injured in a knife attack in Rajasthan's Bhilwara on Friday evening, following a minor dispute over gutkha in the Dadabari area. The incident occurred in Koli Mohalla, where an argument broke out between two youths over a gutkha transaction, escalating into a deadly assault.

According to the injured man, Sonal Koli, he was confronted by another youth during the dispute, who allegedly returned with a sword and chased him before stabbing him in the neck with a knife.

Local residents rushed Koli to the district hospital, where he was admitted for treatment, and police from Bhimganj Police Station recorded his statement.

Police have formed teams to trace the accused, who is currently absconding, and the situation in the area is under control, with further investigation underway. The court or police are expected to provide updates on the case in the coming days.
