TCS has declared a second interim dividend of ₹12 per share for FY27, setting the record date for 14 October and payment on 30 October. Shares rose 4% to ₹2,158 at 12.05 pm, a modest rebound after a 33% YTD slide.
The ₹12 dividend yields roughly 1.4% on the current price, falling short of the IT sector average of 1.9% but beating the consensus estimate of ₹10.50 per share. Analysts note the dividend will provide a small cushion for investors amid a volatile quarter.
Meanwhile, Ola Electric’s board approved a rights issue of up to ₹999.74 crore, pricing each new share at ₹27. The record date is 13 October and shares are trading flat at ₹34.55, marking a 7% decline in the last month.
Vedanta has also announced an interim dividend of ₹5 per share, with a record date of 14 October. Its shares are up 3.4% at ₹261.95, though the stock has fallen 56.4% YTD. Anand Rathi Wealth, still pending its dividend announcement, is trading 4.2% lower at ₹2,048.8. Bansal Wire Industries will execute a 1:5 stock split on 16 October, with shares slightly down at ₹312.25.
Looking forward, TCS is slated to release FY27 guidance on 10 November, where earnings per share are expected to rise above 100 paise. Investors will be watching for a possible dividend hike if the company meets its 15% YoY earnings target. In parallel, the impact of Ola’s rights issue on EPS dilution will be a key focus for analysts navigating the mid‑quarter corporate actions cycle.
