Bengaluru Metro Suspends Purple Line Services for Maintenance

The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) said it will suspend metro services on a section of the Purple Line on May 10 from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. for maintenance. The affected section is between Sri Balagangadharanatha Swamiji Station (Hosahalli) and Cubbon Park Metro Station.
The maintenance work will be carried out between Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Station (Majestic) and Sir M. Visvesvaraya Station (Central College).
During the two-hour period, metro services will operate as per schedule on select stretches, including Challaghatta to Vijayanagar and M.G. Road to Whitefield (Kadugodi) on the Purple Line.
Normal services across the entire Purple Line, including the affected stretch, will resume from 9 a.m. on May 10. Services on other corridors, including Madavara to Silk Institute and R.V. Road to Bommasandra, will also run as per the regular timetable.
The BMRCL will resume normal operations after the maintenance work is completed, with the next scheduled services operating as usual from 9 a.m. on May 10.
