
NTPC Green Energy announced that its Kalasar solar project in Bikaner has become commercially operational, adding 81.34 MW to the group’s output. The move lifts commercial capacity from 10,895.89 MW to 10,977.23 MW, a 0.75% uptick versus the prior level.
The total installed capacity now stands at 11,058.57 MW, just 2.57 MW shy of the 11,000‑MW target earmarked for FY26. This addition comes under the 650 MW solar component of the 500 MW REMCL Round‑the‑Clock project, a key part of the company’s renewable portfolio.
In a separate filing, NTPC Ltd declared a final dividend of ₹3,393.83 crore for FY25‑26, bringing the total dividend payout to ₹8,727 crore. This translates to ₹9 per equity share of face value ₹10, reinforcing the parent’s commitment to shareholder value.
The disclosures were made under Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements Regulations, 2015, ensuring timely transparency for investors.
Looking ahead, NTPC Green Energy plans to complete the remaining 81.34 MW by the end of FY26, while the parent company’s continued dividend policy suggests further cash returns in the upcoming quarter.
