At a packed Mumbai venue, Vijay Varma turned the spotlight onto Aaliyah Qureishi’s debut album launch, sporting a relaxed denim shirt and turning the crowd into a chorus of whistles.
The stage name Jhalli, known from her cameo in Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan and the fresh debut of Nadaaniyan, made her the talk of the night, with fans humming the tracks even before the first note hit the mic.
Rumors of a romance between the two have simmered since early 2026, fueled by their public outings, and this supportive display has only stoked the fire—fans swarming Instagram with #VarmaJhalli as if the event was a secret advertisement for a future film pairing.
A fan on X, while fan‑commenting, noted, “Vijay’s enthusiastic applause shows he’s got a soft spot for Jhalli.” Their silence on the matter has left room for speculation, and the clip’s viral reach turned a simple backstage moment into a headline.
Meanwhile, Vijay’s calendar is packed: he’s slated to return as Brij Bhatti in the second season of Matka King and to star opposite Sunny Deol in the upcoming Antony, so media pundits are already weaving a narrative that the budding romance could influence his next on‑screen choices.
As the buzz grows, only time will tell whether the whistling applause turns into a co‑star on the silver screen or remains a sweet backstage moment.
