Cyberabad Police Detain 32 for Indecent Behaviour, Arrest 6 in Human Trafficking Cases

Cyberabad SHE Teams conducted 99 decoy operations between May 2 and May 7, detaining 32 individuals for indecent behaviour at public places, with petty cases registered in 42 instances and the remaining offenders counselled.
The Cyberabad Anti Human Trafficking Unit rescued three victims and arrested six accused persons in three cases registered under the Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act.
In separate cases, officials rescued four boys and arrested four accused persons under the Juvenile Justice Act.
The police also organised awareness programmes, with around 1,685 people participating in sessions on human trafficking, child trafficking, and other safety issues.
The immediate next steps include continued awareness and preventive initiatives, with the police aiming to promote practical safety awareness and encourage collective responsibility in creating safer workplaces and public spaces. The Women and Child Safety Wing will continue to monitor and address incidents of indecent behaviour and human trafficking.
