Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) would form the next government in Telangana, citing a similar enthusiasm among people as seen in West Bengal. Modi addressed a massive public meeting at Parade Grounds in Secunderabad, where he drew loud cheers from BJP workers and supporters.
Modi stated that the BJP had secured a ‘historic victory’ in West Bengal because the people there fulfilled their resolve to bring the party to power, and asserted that a similar mood was visible among people from remote parts of Telangana.
The Prime Minister announced that the Centre had sanctioned the Zaheerabad Industrial Corridor and recalled that Telangana had received one of the seven PM MITRA textile parks approved across the country.
The court is not involved in this matter, but the next step is the upcoming elections in Telangana, where the BJP will face off against the ruling parties, with several party leaders, including State BJP president N. Ramchander Rao and Union Ministers G. Kishan Reddy and Bandi Sanjay Kumar, also exuding confidence that the BJP would come to power in Telangana.
