Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Telangana on Sunday to lay the foundation for development projects worth ₹9,400 crore, which are expected to create new opportunities for youth and accelerate the state's progress. The projects include the four-laning of National Highway-167, the Zaheerabad Industrial Area, and the PM MITRA Park at Warangal.
Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan welcomed PM Modi and thanked the NDA government for its commitment towards strengthening infrastructure, connectivity, and economic growth in the state.
The Prime Minister also dedicated the Sindhu Hospital in Hyderabad, a cancer-focused multi-super speciality not-for-profit institution, to the nation, and inaugurated Indian Oil's Malkapur Terminal Project.
The projects are part of PM Modi's three-State tour of Karnataka, Telangana, and Gujarat on May 10 and 11.
The Prime Minister will travel to Jamnagar in Gujarat on Sunday night and participate in the Somnath Amrut Mahotsav at the Somnath Temple on Monday, followed by a visit to Vadodara, where he will inaugurate the Sardardham Hostel.
