Tenneco Clean Air India Limited has appointed Thalavai Venkatesan as Chief Commercial & Technology Officer for its IceCo division, effective April 23, 2026. Venkatesan will lead commercial strategy and technology innovation, overseeing customer engagement, product development, and cross-functional teams. His role reflects the increasing alignment of technical and market-driven functions in the automotive supply chain.
With 29 years of experience in R&D, sales, and P&L leadership, Venkatesan has held senior roles in engine management, electrification, powertrain engineering, and vehicle safety systems. He previously managed global teams and delivered commercial results across diverse markets.
The appointment follows increased pressure on auto suppliers to adapt to electrification, stricter emissions norms, and software-defined vehicles. In India, government incentives and rising demand for clean mobility are driving investment in advanced automotive technologies.
