On the eve of its Dalal Street debut, Paras Healthcare shares hovered above the ₹660 issue price, trading in the grey market at a ₹13 premium—an indicator of eager demand.
The IPO attracted 2.69 crore bids for 1.21 crore shares, translating to an overall subscription of 2.23×, comfortably ahead of the 2× band set by the regulator.
Qualified institutional buyers led the pack, with a 3.09× subscription, while retail investors bought in 2×.
Proceeds from the ₹500 cr fresh issue will see ₹375 cr directed toward debt repayment, leaving the balance for general corporate purposes; the OFS will generate ₹950 cr, entirely for selling shareholders.
Looking ahead, Paras plans to add a 300‑bed facility in Gurugram this financial year and a 500‑bed centre in Ludhiana next year, augmenting its 2,211‑bed network across North India, Bihar, and Jharkhand.
