Shehnaaz Gill Reveals Mahhi Vij Fixed Her Clothes Crisis On Bigg Boss 13

Shehnaaz Gill isn’t watching Bigg Boss 20. She’s blunt about it in an Instagram story: she doesn’t know if Mahhi Vij is playing 'good or bad' inside the house. But that doesn’t matter. For Gill, the allegiance is locked in, rooted not in current voting trends, but in a gritty memory from eight years ago. It’s a rare moment of unfiltered honesty from a host who usually stays strictly in the chair.

The story behind the support is specific and a little messy. During her stint on Bigg Boss 13, Gill found herself in a wardrobe crisis—essentially stripped of options after an altercation with Rashami Desai and Devoleena Bhattacharjee. At that low point, it wasn’t a producer or a sponsor who saved the day. It was Mahhi Vij, who arranged for a Mumbai-based designer to step in. Gill remembers the solidarity vividly: when she laughed, Vij laughed; when she cried, the other woman cried right along with her.

It’s a transaction of loyalty that feels refreshingly human in a show often defined by scripted twists. Gill describes Vij as a "pure and clean-hearted person," a judgment she’s made by watching the actor’s private side, not just her on-screen persona. This isn’t about protecting a contestant from the vote; it’s about honoring a friend who had her back when the cameras were rolling and the stakes felt personal.

Bigg Boss 20 episodes drop daily at 9 PM on JioHotstar and 10:30 PM on Colours TV. With Shilpa Shinde also weighing in on the season’s dynamics, the house politics are heating up, but for Gill, the verdict on Mahhi Vij is already in.
