Six people were injured when a KSRTC bus and a mini-bus collided near Vellikulam on the ErattupettaVagamon highway during the afternoon. Rescue teams from multiple agencies responded to the scene.

Six people were injured when a KSRTC bus and a private mini-bus collided near Vellikulam on the ErattupettaVagamon route in the afternoon. The mini-bus, descending the hill, reportedly crashed into the KSRTC bus, which was traveling uphill.

The injured were immediately transported to hospitals in Erattupetta for treatment. Emergency response teams, including Fireforce personnel from Erattupetta, along with volunteers from Nammakootam Volunteer Force and Team Rescue Force, reached the site and conducted rescue operations.

Authorities are assessing road conditions and traffic management protocols on the route. The court will resume hearing on Tuesday for related matters.
