Shahid Kapoor Reveals He's an 'Indulgent' Dad on Kapil Sharma’s Diwali Special

When the teaser for the Great Indian Kapil Show drops, the first thing that hits is Shahid Kapoor’s grin – a grin that spells indulgence, not in a bad way, but in a way that makes you want to see his kids’ faces.

The clip begins with Shahid and Ishaan Khatter breaking into a Zingaat‑style dance that’s more choreography than sheer energy. It’s the kind of goofy duo‑time that keeps meme‑hunters busy and sets the tone for a Diwali episode that promises to be all spice and no chill.

Mira Rajput, making her first TV appearance, is asked about Shahid’s parenting style. She smiles, says “very, but not in a bad way,” and her expression is a mix of affection and a hint of mischief. Shahid, in turn, throws a playful jab about driving fast but safe, and it’s the kind of banter that keeps the audience laughing.

The real sweet spot comes when Shahid drops a photo of Mira, the caption reads "It’s YOU," and a string of red heart emojis pops up. A quick flashback to their 11‑year anniversary, complete with a photo from Madame Tussauds Singapore, reminds us that their love is as solid as wax.

All in all, the teaser is a little love letter to fans: Shahid’s indulgence, Mira’s love, and a dance that says Diwali is about joy, family and a few laughs. The full episode is slated for release on Netflix’s holiday schedule, and it’s bound to be a must‑watch for anyone who knows the Kapoor‑Rajput pairing.
