The new Elevate will hit the Indian market on Oct 6, sliding into a mid‑size SUV space that’s now crowded with rivals like the Creta, Seltos and Grand Vitara.
The exterior gets a subtle facelift: a new front bumper, chrome‑tinted alloy wheels, upgraded LED bar lighting and a fresh taillamp design, but the overall shape and proportions stay familiar.
Inside, a 10.25‑inch infotainment screen replaces the current 8‑inch unit, and the cabin receives updated upholstery and trim panels that feel more contemporary. Standard 360‑degree camera and ventilated front seats now arrive without buyers having to pay extra for them.
Safety gets a noticeable lift too – Honda Sensing is expected to adopt a Level‑2 ADAS suite similar to the City’s offering, adding adaptive cruise control, lane‑keep assist and autonomous emergency braking.
The powertrain remains unchanged: a 1.5‑litre naturally aspirated petrol engine delivering 121 hp, paired with a 6‑speed manual or CVT. Prices are projected to stay within the ₹11‑17 lakh range, keeping the Elevate squarely against the Creta, Seltos, Grand Vitara, Hyryder, Victoris, Kushaq and Taigun. The facelift will roll out across major metros from Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore starting early November, giving buyers a chance to lock in the upgraded features without paying for accessories.
Those who need a 360‑degree camera or ventilated seats will benefit from the factory‑fitted upgrades, but buyers hunting for a hybrid will still need to look elsewhere.
