Sara Ali Khan and Rakul Preet Singh have rejected claims of a rift with fellow actress Wamiqa Gabbi during the promotional campaign for their upcoming film 'Pati Patni Aur Woh Do', calling such reports baseless and media-constructed. Speaking to News18, Singh said the idea of 'catfights' among actresses is a repeated narrative that gains traction without evidence.
Singh emphasized that professional actors prioritize their work, stating, "A film is your rozi-roti," and dismissed the notion that women inherently clash on sets unless there is serious wrongdoing. Sara Ali Khan added that the three leads are distinct in personality but equally confident and secure, crediting director Mudassar Aziz for crafting roles that do not compete with one another.
Khan stressed a collaborative mindset, saying the success of one performer benefits the entire cast: "It's 'our film'. The better she is in a song, the better for me." Both actresses underscored unity and professionalism amid viral clips that sparked online speculation.
'Pati Patni Aur Woh Do', a sequel to the 2019 film of the same name, stars Ayushmann Khurrana alongside the three actresses and is scheduled for theatrical release on May 15.
