The teaser for Anurag Kashyap's 'Bandar' premiered Thursday, introducing Bobby Deol as Sameer Mehra, a once-celebrated rockstar grappling with personal and legal turmoil. The 90-second video reveals Mehra's hedonistic lifestyle, marked by flashy performances, casual dating, and growing isolation despite public fame.

The narrative shifts when Mehra is accused of sexual assault, which he denies, claiming he is being framed. Sanya Malhotra plays his sister, who teams up with a lawyer to support him, signaling a legal and emotional confrontation ahead. The teaser uses the reimagined track 'Come On Baby Dil Kisko Degi' to underscore its 1980s-inspired aesthetic.

'Bandar' is written by Sudip Sharma and Abhishek Banerjee, known for 'Paatal Lok' and 'Kohrra', and produced by Saffron Magicworks in association with Zee Studios. It premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival last year.

The film is scheduled to release in theatres nationwide on June 5.
