An Indian national was killed in an attack on King Fahd International Airport in Dammam on Wednesday night, along with a second victim.
The Indian embassy confirmed that another two Indian nationals sustained injuries, bringing the total casualties to two dead and eight wounded.
Saudi authorities have not named an organisation behind the assault, but the General Authority of Civil Aviation said the attack involved an unidentified weapon device.
The incident comes as Saudi Arabia tightens security after a drone skirmish at the Shaybah oilfield earlier that day, which left a Nepali and a Filipino dead.
The embassy is coordinating with families, offering prayers and assistance, while Saudi air defenses remain on high alert.
Officials say investigations are underway, and the airport will remain closed until safety is assured.
