Rick Ross purchased Evander Holyfield’s former Georgia estate in 2014 for $5.8 million. The 45,000‑sq‑ft mansion, known as Villa Vittoriosa, boasted 109 rooms, 12 bedrooms and 21 bathrooms, and a 350,000‑gallon pool.
Ross had eyed the property for years after moving to Georgia; he recalled driving past the former champion’s house daily before spotting the red "for‑sale" sign. He said the sight of the sign made him "look at every curve and every up and down on the lawn," prompting a U‑turn that sealed the deal.
In 2019, he added 87 acres of surrounding land for $1 million, bringing the total to 322 acres. The expanded property has hosted large public events such as car shows and pool parties during the summer, drawing crowds from across the state.
The mansion also served as a film set, featuring in the 2021 movie Coming 2 America. Its white stone façade and grand entrance matched the fictional Zamunda Palace, giving the film a touch of authentic opulence.
Ross maintains the grounds himself, often mowing the lawns and riding an air‑conditioned tractor he bought for the estate. He also keeps buffaloes, horses and a bull on the property, which has sparked complaints from neighbors about the animals.
With the estate’s growth, Ross continues to diversify his real‑estate portfolio across Georgia, Florida and Texas, and he is reportedly eyeing additional properties in the coming months.
