Suvendu Adhikari isn't waiting for the dust to settle. The West Bengal Chief Minister confirmed on Saturday that the state government will launch a fresh, independent probe into Mamata Banerjee's 2021 leg injury, explicitly labeling the incident as "false claims" made to mislead the electorate. Speaking at the state secretariat in Nabanna, Adhikari held up a 2021 medical document from the Bangur Institute of Neurosciences, pointing to the Department of Radio Diagnosis. "There is no evidence of a fracture," he said, his tone sharp. "Mamata Banerjee faked her leg injury during campaigning in Nandigram."
