Railway Board Approves Permanent Bi-weekly Express Service Between Bengaluru and Bidar

The Railway Board has approved the conversion of the SMVT Bengaluru-Bidar bi-weekly special train into a regular service, renumbered as Train Nos 16559/16560, effective May 15 and 16. The service will operate every Friday and Sunday from Bengaluru and return from Bidar on Saturdays and Mondays.
The Railway Board has approved the permanent operation of the bi-weekly Express Special between Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal (SMVT) Bengaluru and Bidar, renumbering it as Train Nos 16559/16560, according to a statement by South Western Railway's Chief Public Relations Officer, Manjunath Kanamadi. The new regular service begins May 15 for the outbound run and May 16 for the return.
