Namma Art Bengaluru 2026 Opens with 150 Artists Showcasing Diverse Indian Art Forms

The second edition of Namma Art Bengaluru, a national art exhibition, opened on May 6, 2026, at Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath in Bengaluru and will run until May 10. Organized as a platform for Indian artists, the event showcases a wide range of artistic expressions from across the country.
The exhibition features more than 150 artists from states including Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Maharashtra, and Madhya Pradesh, presenting works in Mysore painting, fluid art, contemporary art, and sculptures in copper, brass, and terracotta. Lina Vincent, an art curator and historian, is curating the exhibition.
Geetanjali Vikram Kirloskar, Chairperson and Managing Director of Kirloskar Systems Pvt. Ltd., inaugurated the event, emphasizing that art extends beyond display to personal interpretation and creation. Artist Archana S., participating with her work, said the exhibition offers artists opportunities to connect, exhibit, and sell their art.
The exhibition remains open to the public through May 10, with organizers expecting strong footfall in the final days.
