Remsons Automotive Ltd, a UK-based subsidiary of Remsons Industries Ltd, has been awarded a 10-year contract by a global commercial vehicle OEM to supply pedal box assemblies valued at ₹160 crore over the lifecycle of the programme. The nomination follows a comprehensive technical evaluation assessing engineering, manufacturing readiness, quality systems and programme management capabilities.
The contract involves the supply of integrated pedal box assemblies, which combine brake and clutch systems into a single structural unit mounted on the vehicle bulkhead, classified as safety-critical components in commercial vehicles. The programme is scheduled to enter production in the fourth quarter of 2028.
Davinder Bains, Managing Director of Remsons Automotive Ltd (UK), said the award reflects the company's engineering and manufacturing capabilities across its Indian and UK operations. The order marks a strategic shift from supplying individual components to delivering integrated sub-assemblies, strengthening Remsons' position in the global commercial vehicle supply chain.
The company manufactures mechanical control cables, gear shifters, pedal assemblies, sensors and lighting systems for passenger and commercial vehicles, two-wheelers and off-highway applications. The commercial vehicle segment will benefit from sustained revenue flow over the next decade.
Production is scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2028, with full rollout expected to follow based on OEM demand.
