Water, pause, hug. In a quiet corner of the KBC 18 set, the legend of Bollywood slid a chilled glass toward the freshly minted Ramayana star, and the room felt like a living script.
Sai's eyes glistened as she accepted the offering, her earlier stoic demeanor melting into a spontaneous hug that left the audience—both on set and online—clutching their own popcorn.
Sony TV's clip, captioned "Ek chhota sa gesture, dher saara pyaar," spread like wildfire, turning a simple moment into a trending meme across fan forums.
During the same episode, when Bachchan asked her what he’d look for in a future partner, Sai's answer—"a good person who can cook"—tuned into the quiet, relatable side of the superstar.
The guest list for KBC 18 is set to double with Ranbir Kapoor and Ravie Dubey, and the show will dovetail into the launch of the Ramayana saga on November 5, with a Diwali 2027 finale.
So as the quiz show gears up for the October finale, fans can expect more heartbeats—both in the studio and on their screens—when the Mahabharata meets modern pop culture.
