The Directorate of Technical Education has received 42,156 applications from students seeking admission under the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions 2026 since the portal opened on May 3. Out of these, 10,423 candidates have completed the payment of necessary fees for the admission process.

As many as 3,352 candidates have completed the process of uploading their certificates.

The registration process is ongoing, with the number of applications expected to increase.

The Directorate of Technical Education will continue to accept registrations and process applications in the coming days. The next step for candidates who have completed the registration process is to await further instructions from the Directorate.
