China's rare earth exports were valued at $64.2 million in April 2026, according to preliminary trade data released by the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China. The country exported 5,308.6 tonnes of rare earths during the month, with overall exports rising 12% month-on-month.
China's total trade stood at $634.06 billion, with exports valued at $359.44 billion and imports at $274.62 billion, resulting in a trade surplus of $84.82 billion.
Among major export categories, high-tech product exports stood at $104.01 billion, while mechanical and electrical product exports were valued at $229.29 billion.
