Larry Ellison has re‑listed his 8.4‑acre Seminole Beach Estate in North Palm Beach at $165 million, the highest asking price ever for an oceanfront parcel in the county.
Ellison bought the property on his own through a linked entity in April 2021 for $80 million, intending to demolish the existing Mediterranean‑style home and build a new compound, but the plan stalled.
The estate sits inside the gated Seminole Landing community, borders the Seminole Golf Club, and stretches roughly 562 feet of Atlantic frontage, offering a private helipad and a 16,000‑sq‑ft house with seven bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a tennis court, and a wine room.
After an unsuccessful 2022 listing at $145 million, the property was removed from the market, only to return now with a 106% hike over Ellison’s original purchase and more than $10,000 per square foot.
Ellison’s focus has shifted to other South Florida holdings, including a 15‑acre Manalapan estate bought for $173 million and an additional 35‑million purchase this year, suggesting he prefers to consolidate his portfolio rather than develop new builds.
The asking price remains speculative; no buyer has yet committed, but if the estate sells near the $165 million mark it would eclipse previous high‑price sales in North Palm Beach and mark a significant shift in the region’s luxury real‑estate market.
