Olectra Greentech has partnered with Dassault Systèmes to adopt the 3DEXPERIENCE platform as part of its digital product development strategy for electric mobility. The platform will integrate product design, simulation, manufacturing, and lifecycle management into a single collaborative environment.
The implementation is expected to support virtual simulation and validation before physical prototyping, improve coordination across engineering and manufacturing teams, and reduce product development timelines. Olectra Greentech currently has over 3,800 electric vehicles deployed across India and an order book exceeding 10,000 vehicles.
Mahesh Babu, Managing Director, Olectra Greentech, said the collaboration with Dassault Systèmes would help the company develop future products to global standards while improving speed and precision in engineering and development.
The companies said the collaboration aligns with a broader industry move toward digital engineering ecosystems aimed at reducing development complexity and supporting next-generation EV architectures. The partnership is expected to support Olectra Greentech's expansion investments in new electric bus and truck platforms, with further announcements on the implementation timeline expected in the coming weeks.
