At KC College in Mumbai, BJP Maharashtra State President Ravindra Chavan unveiled the 'Namo Seva – Unheard Stories' street play initiative, a move to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s public life.
The launch came as part of the broader Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, which the Bharatiya Janata Party has rolled out nationwide to showcase Modi’s service journey.
The campaign will see a major play staged in every district by October 15, 2026, and a minimum of ten plays in each assembly constituency, a scale unprecedented in the state’s cultural outreach.
Artists from Pimpri‑Chinchwad will dramatise pivotal incidents from Modi’s career, aiming to spark civic pride and civic consciousness among the populace.
Speaking at the event, Chavan said the initiative would mirror the success of the film 'Hanuman Ansh' and set a new record for grassroots engagement.
Cultural Affairs Minister Ashish Shelar, Speaker Rahul Narvekar, Mumbai BJP chief Ameet Satam, and Mayor Ritu Tawde all applauded the launch, signalling state‑level support for the programme.
