Kiara Advani Recalls Nearly Believing Plastic Surgery Rumours

Bollywood actress Kiara Advani said she nearly believed plastic surgery rumours about herself after photos from a public event circulated online in 2021. She made the comments during an episode of Arbaaz Khan's chat show 'Pinch', where she discussed the impact of social media and online trolling.

Advani recalled that after the event pictures surfaced, numerous comments claimed she had undergone cosmetic procedures. She said, "Main kisi event ke liye gayi thi, jo pictures bahar aaye... there were a lot of comments about, 'Oh, she has done plastic surgery.' And the irony of it was main almost believe karne lagi ki maine kuch kiya hai apne aap ko."

She acknowledged that while she tries to ignore online criticism, it sometimes affects her emotionally. "I say that I ignore it but it is a form of protecting yourself," she said, urging netizens to remember that public figures are also human with emotions.

Advani made her Bollywood debut in 2014 with 'Fugly' and gained widespread recognition with the 2016 film 'MS Dhoni: The Untold Story'. She has since appeared in several commercially successful films, including 'Kabir Singh' and 'Bharat Ane Nenu'.
