Times Now accessed new CCTV footage from Surat railway station that captured the three suspects sprinting toward a train bound for Kota. The clip, shot on the night of October 18, shows the men in high‑speed motion, their faces obscured by helmets, as they bolt toward the platform. The footage follows the suspects after they fled the Juhu shooting scene, where Tiger Shroff was wounded.
Mumbai Police seized the suspects Monday morning at Railway Colony Police Station in Kota, where they are kept under tight security with a large police contingent and commandos outside. The transfer to Mumbai has been postponed for security reasons, with officials planning to move them in the early hours of Tuesday.
The shooting on Oct 18 at Pushpa Park in Juhu saw three motorcycle‑borne assailants open fire on Shroff’s car. Shroff was rushed to Nanavati Hospital and is recovering, while his driver sustained injuries. The gunmen fled on motorcycles, heading first toward Andheri West, then to Vasai, before boarding the Pune–Jaipur Express around 10 pm.
The investigation pieced together the suspects’ route using CCTV from the football ground, footage from fans, and surveillance at Andheri and Vasai. An FIR was filed under the Arms Act and Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita at about 4 am on Monday, October 19.
Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde visited Shroff’s residence at 11 pm Sunday, checking on the actor’s health and discussing the incident. The visit underscored the state’s attention to the case.
Police expect to transport the suspects to Mumbai by 4 am Tuesday for trial under the Arms Act, while security forces remain on alert around the Kota station.
