Man Arrested Near Ex-Prince Andrew's Home Over Weapon Incident

A man has been arrested by Norfolk police after an incident near the Sandringham Estate, the home of former prince Andrew, in eastern England. The man was arrested on suspicion of a public order offence and possession of an offensive weapon after he was seen wielding a weapon and behaving in an intimidating manner near the estate late on Wednesday.
According to UK media reports, the man had allegedly threatened Andrew while he was out walking his dogs in the area. The man, who was wearing a balaclava, had gotten out of his car and headed towards Andrew, shouting at him, before Andrew fled to his own car and drove away.
Norfolk police confirmed that officers were called to the scene shortly after 7:30pm on Wednesday and the man was taken to King's Lynn police investigation centre for questioning. He remains in custody.
The incident comes amid ongoing controversy surrounding Andrew, who was stripped of his royal titles in October by King Charles III amid a growing scandal around his ties to late billionaire US sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
The court will review the case and the man's custody status in the coming days, with Norfolk police set to provide further updates on the investigation.
