Shares of Anant Raj slipped 1.2% to ₹461.85 after the Q2 earnings announcement, reflecting investor caution despite a 14% profit jump. The consolidated net profit hit ₹157 cr, up from ₹138 cr in the same quarter a year earlier, and revenue from operations rose 5% YoY to ₹662 cr.
EBITDA surged 18% to ₹198 cr, lifting the margin to 29.9% from 26.6% in FY26 Q2—a 330‑basis‑point improvement that outpaces the typical 2‑3% margin growth seen in similar mid‑cap IT firms. The half‑year figures show revenue of ₹1,293 cr versus ₹1,223 cr last year, with net profit of ₹306 cr versus ₹264 cr, signalling a steady upward trajectory.
On the infrastructure front, Anant Raj Cloud Singapore has operationalised two data‑centre campuses with 28 MW capacity and is targeting 357 MW by FY32, while the company expects to reach 63 MW of IT load capacity by the end of FY27. The firm also secured an RERA certificate for its luxury residential project, The Estate One, adding a diversification angle.
Looking ahead, the company’s proposed composite scheme—merging Anant Raj Cloud into the parent and de‑merging its data‑centre and cloud services into Ashok Cloud—awaits NOCs from the exchanges and SEBI. CEO remarks in the filing confirm the AI‑enabled services rollout is on schedule for FY27. Analysts caution that the heavy capital spend on data‑centre expansion may compress margins in the near term, keeping the stock under pressure.
