Visakhapatnam Joint Collector Gobbilla Vidyadhari on Friday directed district officials to ensure seamless conduct of the Intermediate Advanced Supplementary examinations, set to run from May 21 to June 2. A total of 60 examination centers have been established across the district for first and second year Intermediate public theory and practical exams.
First year exams will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., while second year exams are scheduled from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Vidyadhari chaired a coordination review meeting, instructing departments to provide uninterrupted power supply, drinking water, lighting, functional toilets, desks, and other essential facilities at all centers.
Security measures include deployment of police personnel, enforcement of Section 144 near exam venues, and closure of xerox shops within 200 meters to prevent malpractice. Medical aid teams and special bus services by APSRTC have been arranged to support candidates and staff.
Officials have been assigned monitoring roles to verify compliance with all directives ahead of the exam schedule. The district administration will conduct final inspections before May 21.
