President Donald Trump unveiled America.gov on Tuesday, urging federal agencies to shift public services onto the new portal.
The launch followed an executive order that compels agencies with more than 100,000 users each year—excluding national‑security and tax services—to migrate their public‑facing operations.
America.gov will serve as a single, secure entry point, using plain language and a proprietary Super Intelligence system to deliver instant, verified answers.
In the next few months, the portal will roll out passport renewals, Medicare enrollment, and other essential services, according to White House officials.
The White House claims the reform will eliminate bureaucracy and free up roughly 10 billion hours each year spent on federal paperwork.
US Chief Design Officer Joe Gebbia, who co‑presented the platform, said the initiative is a modern, user‑centric redesign of government services.
