Adani Total Gas Ltd (ATGL) disclosed a 3% year‑on‑year jump in standalone net profit to ₹167 crore for the September quarter of FY27, as sales of compressed natural gas (CNG) and piped cooking gas (PNG) surged.
Revenue from operations leapt 34% to ₹2,102 crore, powered by a 17% rise in CNG volumes and a 3% uptick in PNG, while the cost of natural gas climbed 43% amid higher Brent‑linked prices and a West‑Asia crisis.
ATGL’s diversified sourcing and price calibration helped cushion input costs, with 25% of CNG supplied through the domestic APM and the rest from HPHT gas, new wells, contracts and market purchases.
Profit before tax rose 8% to ₹235 crore, and EBITDA ticked 12% to ₹340 crore, underscoring disciplined pricing and network expansion, CEO Sanjay Pandita said.
The company added 16 CNG stations this quarter, bringing total outlets to 723, and extended its steel pipeline by 318 inch‑km to 16,305 inch‑km, while domestic PNG connections grew by 39,574 to 1.181 lakh households.
ATGL also expanded its e‑mobility arm, installing 5,513 EV charging points across 26 states, and its biomass arm sold 460 tonnes of compressed biogas in H1FY27.
