RCPL entered the ready‑to‑drink dairy segment with its Joyland flavoured milk, priced at ₹20 per bottle, launching in Tamil Nadu on Monday.
According to RCPL’s Q1 filing with the BSE, gross revenue topped ₹8,600 cr, with beverages alone contributing ₹2,900 cr—a 33% slice of total sales.
The launch leverages RCPL’s existing network of 5,000 distributors and 30 lakh retail outlets, ensuring Joyland hits shelves almost instantly across the state.
India’s ready‑to‑drink dairy market is growing at about 8% annually, as consumers chase affordable, on‑the‑go options. Competitors such as Amul and Nestlé have already introduced similar product lines, tightening the race.
RCPL plans a statewide rollout by Q3 2026, with additional flavours and a protein‑based variant slated for later this year, according to Director T Krishnakumar.
