Five Killed in Mahbubnagar Bypass Road Accident

Five people, including two children, were killed in a road accident on the Mahbubnagar bypass in the early hours of Monday. The accident occurred when a sports bike, a Suzuki Hayabusa, rammed into a car trying to take a turn at the X-road between 12:30 a.m. and 1 a.m.
According to police, the car was traveling towards Kanakpet after the occupants had attended a function, and the motorcycle was traveling towards Hyderabad when it crashed into the rear of the car. Both persons on the motorcycle died on the spot, and three occupants seated in the rear seat of the car, including a woman, her seven-year-old son, and her sister-in-law’s 18-month-old child, also succumbed to injuries sustained in the impact.
Police said there were eight persons traveling in the car at the time of the accident, and those seated in the rear bore the brunt of the collision. Another woman sustained injuries and is currently undergoing treatment.
The identities of the deceased are yet to be established, and a formal complaint is yet to be lodged. The police will continue to investigate the accident and may release further details in the coming days. The court or relevant authorities may also respond to the incident, but no official statements have been made yet.
