Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Friday launched a scathing attack on the AAP government in Punjab, saying it has made the situation in the state worse than in West Bengal under Mamata Banerjee. Saini alleged that the AAP is busy with corruption and people are fed up, while industrialists are shifting out of the state.
Saini also targeted the Congress party, saying they keep looking for issues and raise the bogey of 'vote chori' when they find nothing. He demanded an apology from Rahul Gandhi for his remarks on the BJP government in Haryana, saying Gandhi should know that Prime Minister Modi stopped infiltrators and empowered the poor.
The Chief Minister claimed that the AAP and the Congress have a tacit understanding, saying they sit together at night and plan to abuse Modi during the day. He also criticized Bhagwant Mann for blaming the BJP for the twin blasts in Punjab, saying the AAP is trying to hide its own failures.
The immediate next steps include the BJP's response to the AAP's allegations and the Congress party's reaction to Saini's demands for an apology. The Punjab government is also expected to respond to Saini's criticism of its handling of the state's situation.
