Spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded inflows of $2.65 bn for the fifth straight day, according to data from CoinSwitch Markets Desk, and whale‑level holders have amassed more than 113,000 BTC since mid‑July, signalling persistent demand.
Derivatives activity cooled noticeably: open interest fell 16% to $376 bn, daily volume dropped 16.3% to $937.4 bn, and long liquidations peaked at $208.6 m versus $116.8 m in short liquidations, per WazirX founder Nischal Shetty.
With the September‑25 options expiry looming, traders will focus on 10‑year yield dynamics and oil‑price swings; a weekly close above $82,500 could pave the way for a move toward $85,000, according to Giottus CEO Vikram Subburaj.
