His mind has filled in the blanks with the wrong country flag. Now, while his handlers panic, he is fully committed to being an Indian patriot. It’s a chaotic setup that leans heavily into the absurdity of cross-border confusion in a way that feels fresh for an action-comedy.
Sara Ali Khan joins the fray as a CTS operative, and the chemistry between them from their previous collaboration, Pati Patni Aur Woh Do, is already visible in the teaser clips. The tagline, “Deshbhakti toh yaad hai... par desh nahi,” sets the tone: it’s not a serious geopolitical thriller. It’s a vehicle for gags, physical comedy, and the kind of slapstick that works best when the leads don’t take themselves too seriously. The film positions itself squarely as a light-hearted entertainer, aiming for that sweet spot between satire and sheer fun.
This is a debut for director Akash A Kaushik, who also wrote the story, and the production house behind it is heavyweight.
