All Within My Hands launched the Scholars Initiative in 2019 with ten community colleges, each receiving a $100,000 grant to upgrade hands‑on training.
The foundation partnered with the American Association of Community Colleges to reorient institutions toward career‑technical pathways, allowing schools to purchase equipment, hire mentors, and enhance student services.
Over the next eight years, the programme grew steadily: 15 colleges in 2020, 23 in 2021, 32 in 2022, 42 in 2023, 60 in 2024, and now 93 across the nation, including Guam.
The expansion has benefited more than 6,000 students, with courses now covering welding, automotive technology, construction, and emerging fields such as information technology and renewable energy.
All Within My Hands announced a new $3.3 million annual investment for the eighth year, earmarked for expanding training facilities and matching grants.
Students from rural Arkansas and coastal New Jersey have already reported improved job prospects, citing the program’s support in securing apprenticeships and industry partnerships.
