A woman was killed and several others were injured in a road accident involving multiple vehicles at Kowdiar in Kerala capital on Friday. The deceased, identified as 24-year-old Noushika from Palakkad, was confirmed dead at a private hospital in the city.

The accident occurred around 10:30 a.m. when a speeding car reportedly lost control, veered onto the pavement, and crashed into three other cars and two two-wheelers, according to eyewitnesses.

The couple, Noushika and her husband Aashiq, were walking on the footpath when the incident occurred, with Aashiq also sustaining injuries.
