Siddalinga Swami Accuses Kharge of Interfering in Gulbarga University Appointment

Shiv Sena leader Siddalinga Swami has alleged political interference in the appointment of Ningappa Kannur as Registrar (Evaluation) of Gulbarga University, citing lack of qualifications and a pending Lokayukta complaint. He accused Minister Priyank Kharge of pressuring the Higher Education Department to approve the appointment despite procedural violations.
Shiv Sena State president Siddalinga Swami has condemned the appointment of Ningappa Kannur as Registrar (Evaluation) of Gulbarga University, calling it a politically motivated breach of service norms. Speaking at a press conference in Kalaburagi on Thursday, he alleged that Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Minister Priyank Kharge influenced the Higher Education Department to approve Kannur's appointment through a recommendation letter.
