A case was registered against Sub-Inspector of Police Eranna Srishail Alur on Tuesday by the Raichur Women Police for allegedly kidnapping and raping a woman police constable. The victim, who works in the rural station in Raichur, alleged that she was raped by the accused five-six times from 2020 to 2023.

The FIR stated that the victim’s kidnapping bid by the accused in Yadgir during November 2025 ended with the interference of the police, and later, the matter was settled after elders advised him. The accused shared her photos with him on a social media platform on May 5, causing her mental agony.
