Former JPMorgan Analyst Sues Executive, Hires Epstein Accusers’ Lawyer
Chirayu Rana, a former JPMorgan Chase analyst, has filed a lawsuit against senior executive Lorna Hajdini, accusing her of drugging him with Viagra and subjecting him to repeated sexual assaults. Rana, who is of Indian origin, is being represented by Daniel Kaiser of Kaiser, Saurborn & Mair—a lawyer known for representing multiple accusers of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Both Hajdini and JPMorgan have denied the allegations.
The lawsuit alleges that Hajdini used drugs and coercion to control Rana during their time at the bank. However, JPMorgan stated an internal investigation found no evidence supporting the claims and noted that Rana refused to cooperate fully or provide key details. The bank also emphasized that Hajdini had no authority over Rana’s compensation or reporting line. According to the Wall Street Journal, JPMorgan offered Rana approximately $1 million to settle; he rejected the offer and is now seeking over $20 million in damages.
Rana’s attorney, Daniel Kaiser, told The New York Post that a motion has been filed to allow Rana to proceed under a John Doe designation, citing attached corroborating evidence. Kaiser stated, “There is much more” evidence expected to emerge as the case develops. He previously represented Epstein accuser Jennifer Araoz in her lawsuit against Epstein’s estate.
JPMorgan reiterated that its internal review—including analysis of emails and work records—found no authenticity to Rana’s claims. Colleagues have described Rana as “socially awkward,” while Hajdini is regarded internally as a high-performing finance executive. The court is expected to review the motion for John Doe status in the coming days.
