SML Isuzu reported commercial vehicle sales of 1,711 units in April 2026, a 14.7% increase compared to 1,492 units in April FY26. The rise marks the company's strongest start to a fiscal year in recent history, driven by higher domestic demand and improved dispatch activity.
Production for the month reached 1,588 units, up 3.9% from 1,529 units during the same period last year. While output grew steadily, sales expansion outpaced manufacturing, indicating strong inventory drawdown or demand fulfillment.
Exports increased to 30 units in April 2026 from 20 units in April FY26. The rise, though from a small base, signals incremental progress in the company's overseas market penetration.
The company will continue monitoring order inflows and supply chain performance as it enters the second month of FY27.
