Bajaj Finance followed, eroding ₹34.18 cr to ₹5,77 cr; the company’s stock also slid, reflecting broader stress in the banking‑finance sector.
Other heavy‑weight hits included Reliance Industries, whose valuation fell ₹27.07 cr to ₹16,10 cr, and Life Insurance Corp., down ₹21.06 cr to ₹4,81 cr. Bharti Airtel’s market cap dropped ₹9.36 cr to ₹11,79 cr, while State Bank of India slipped ₹4.34 cr to ₹8,83 cr.

Analysts warn that the erosion could tighten earnings outlook for the banking‑finance sector in the coming quarter; upcoming earnings for HDFC Bank and Bajaj Finance on December 15 are expected to hit market expectations.
